Projects

US Department of Justice

Program of Requirements and strategic plan for a large organization with three sub-organizations, each with its own workplace standards.

This complex project involved two expiring facilities totaling over 425,000 rsf and 1,400 personnel from three unique DOJ organizations with their unique set of standards. MAP developed a program and strategic plan to help the agency procure a replacement lease. MAP provided:

  • An existing situation assessment;
  • A Program of Requirements (POR) that accommodated growth but still reduced DOJ’s footprint by 14%, to 382,000 rsf;
  • A Gap Analysis to articulate the specific variances;
  • A conceptual floor plan to test fit a component and assess the standards adopted;
  • A preliminary budget/funding forecast for the procurement;
  • A phasing and migration approach; and
  • A timeline and budget forecast.
