Strategic Planning Services for the Federal Communications Commission, Washington, DC
Comprehensive services including programming, change management, procurement assistance, concept design, design reviews, interior design, and construction administration for a replacement headquarters facility achieving substantial footprint reduction.
MAP assisted FCC with the relocation of their Headquarters facility to a newly constructed building. MAP helped prepare a micro-Program of Requirements, identified issues with the base building and helped ensure compliance with the lease procurement package, developed space planning concepts, assisted with change management reviewed DIDs and CDs, developed interior designs and finishes (other than base building) including selection of furniture, and assisted in construction administration of the interior build out. The 424,600 usf facility was designed for 2,175 FCC employees.
